There are many natural sweeteners to choose from if you want to avoid sugar, but don‘t want any of the artificial sweeteners over which there are a few questions. You can choose from xylitol, luo han, stevia and others, but before discussing these, let‘s have a look at the problems with sugar, artificial sweeteners and the American sugar industry.

Sugar as most people know it originates either from sugar cane or sugar beet, though by far the biggest American industry is in the cane. There are many different types of sugar, though that obtainable from cane sugar is sucrose. Sucrose is a disaccharide and carbohydrate, stored by plants as a reserve energy source to be used when needed. Humans cannot directly use sucrose, and it is metabolized in the body to glucose which needs the hormone insulin to help convert it into energy.

Insulin is produced in the pancreas, and a lack of it, or the body‘s failure to use it properly, is referred to as diabetes. There are two types of diabetes:

Type 1: A total lack or deficiency of insulin due to the pancreas producing insufficient quantities of insulin, or even none at all. This is often seen in young people and is generally cause by the immune system attacking the insulin-producing sells in the pancreas. The treatment for type 1 diabetes is to introduce insulin to the blood, normally by means of injections, plenty exercise and the adoption of a high carbohydrate low fat diet.

Type 2: This is strongly associated with obesity and weight, and is due either to insufficient insulin production by the pancreas (but not as deficient as for Type 1 diabetes) or an inability of the cells of the body to properly use insulin. Type 2 diabetes does not always require insulin injections, and can be treated by exercise, diet and weight control. However, there are occasions where insulin injections are also required. It tends to affect people older than those with Type 1 diabetes and 90% of cases are of this type.

About Blood Cholesterol Levels

1: A high-fat diet, saturated or otherwise, has no impact on blood cholesterol levels.

2: Fact one is not unimportant, it is you gen inheritage.

3: High cholesterol levels don’t cause heart disease anyway (the second part of the cholesterol hypothesis is wrong).

4: Statlns do not protect against heart disease by lowering cholesterol levels - they work In another way.

5: The protection provided by statins is so small as to be not worth bothering about for most people (and all women). The reality is that the benefits have been hyped beyond belief.

6: Statins have many more unpleasant side effects than has been admitted. Side-effects up to, and Including, death and the creation of horribly deformed babies.

7: ‘Experts’ in this area should not be listened to, because they are all paid ridiculous sums of money by statln manufacturers to sing loudly from a prepared hymn sheet. Every single one of them - apart from me, obviously. There are many hundreds of doctors and researchers who agree that the cholesterol hypothesis is bunk. Many keep their counsel, others have been stomped into silence, but a few have had the guts to speak out. However, their voices, unlike those of the implacable medical ’statinators; are not supported by multibillion-dollar pharmaceutical budgets.

Itchy Skin Parasites That Drive You Crazy

Rare skin parasites, causing relentless itchy skin, suffered by thousands of people world wide are becoming more common. The itching is so intense and relentless that the only relief is to take near scalding baths several times a day to keep the vermin at bay.

How are the itchy skin parasites contracted? One lady contracted them from a bird nest she knocked down from a window. Another lady along with her husband contracted them from furniture they rented while their furniture was in transit. One fellow contracted them from a dust cloud while cutting down a dead tree. Another woman removed a nest of mice from a comforter stored in her garage and contracted them. Exchanging dresses at a wedding with another bridesmaid was the downfall of another lady. One woman even says she contracted it from a fellow sitting across from her at a meeting at work. She claims to have seen droplets coming from his mouth as he spoke. My own personal hell started when I had a cloud of dust descend upon me as I pulled a strangulating vine from a tree in my back yard.

Onset of symptoms usually starts approximately twenty-four to thirty-six hours after exposure. The initial symptoms are an itching of the skin driving the individual to a hot bath to relieve the symptoms. Unfortunately within several hours the intense itching returns. Anti itch creams only provide respite for a few hours.

Their desperation and panic results in all kinds of de-wormers, herbal remedies, chelation therapy and or removal of amalgam from filings in their teeth to remove mercury, medications from Mexico, faith healing, rifing… most to no avail.

The offending parasites are generally one or more of several skin parasites:
1. Collembola (spring tails)
2. Strongyloides stercoralis
3. Morgellons

Unfortunately the fact is that nearly all physicians are totally inexperienced with the treatment of these pathogens and for two of them there are no diagnostic tests available. And ironically the one that can be identified (the strongyloides) is a rare nematode requiring a wormer which again physicians are inexperienced in its treatment.

Many of us are so busy and have so many responsibilities in life that we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. We can spend long hours at work, spend time taking care of our families and seem to place high priority on time spent staring at a screen of some description (computer, television of video games). The end result is our health often gets pushed down the totem pole of priorities.

Most people do understand that we should take some time out of the busyness of our lives to get in a couple of proper exercise sessions each week and eat better. But most often these things seem to get lost in the shuffle of our day to day lives.

A no proper exercise lifestyle leads to an increase in fat on the inside which accumulates around the organs inside the belly. You will not notice this at first as it will not show on the bathroom scales. But studies have showed a 9% increase in this dangerous fat in only six months due to lack of exercise can add up to four pounds per year over time.

You can tell when it builds up as your waistline measurement will indicate an unhealthy concentration of this abdominal fat. If you are a man your waistline should not measure over 38 inches and a woman over 35 inches regardless of what you weigh.

This fat is dangerous in that these fat cells inside the abdomen aren’t just dormant energy waiting to be burned up. The cells are active, producing hormones and other chemicals that can disrupt the body’s normal chemical balance and affect your health and put you in the firing line for around 50 nasty diseases and illnesses.
